WPIAL 2017 Cornell Swim

The 2017 WPIAL championship took place March 2nd and 3rd at the Pitt Trees Pool.  On the first day, the 200 boys medley relay consisting of Austin Winchell, Liam White McShane, Greg Klippinger, and Joey Rozman swam and dropped 2 seconds from their best time and placed 26th overall.  The same day Liam swam the 200 IM and almost broke the record.  He overall placed 14th overall.  On March 3,  Austin swam the 500 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.  He broke the Cornell record and his best by 5 seconds going a 5:01.  In his 100 backstroke, he went a personal best of 59.82.  Later that day, Liam swam the 100 breaststroke and broke the Cornell record.
